Based on the current information available, we confirm that the
CT-Meeting is going ahead as planned.
We are closely monitoring any updates on risk assessment, travel advice, and
recommendations for precautions by the World Health Organization (WHO)
concerning the current outbreak of coronavirus disease (COVID-19). The Bavarian federal government
is prohibiting events of more than 500 participants until April 20. For smaller events, the event conduction is
up to the event organizers.
Due to the fact that other major conferences in the field of medical imaging
have only been postponed to June or August, we expect that in August there will
be only a small risk for our CT Meeting.
If a participant is not allowed to travel to Germany in August due to the coronavirus,
we offer the possibility to give her/his contribution by video. This video must be provided
at least one week before (!) the conference. We also require proof that the trip is not
possible for the participant due to the coronavirus.
Once received we will refund the variable cost component of your conference fee.
Fixed costs (room rental, equipment rental, …) can unfortunately not be reimbursed.
Submit your request via mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
